Travolta, John (geb.18.02.1954)
The actor and dancer John Travolta (born 18.02.1954) was nominated for an Oscar for Best Actor for the films "Saturday Night Fever" and "Pulp Fiction". Travolta's hobby since 1989 has been flying. Although he only has a private pilot's licence, he has completed type ratings for the Boeing 707 and Boeing 747 aircraft, among others. He was last seen in a film in 2018 in the title role of "Gotti", as John Joseph Gotti, boss of the American Cosa Nostra. Travolta has been a widower since July 2020; his wife of many years, Kelly Preston, died of breast cancer at the age of 57.
