60 years ago: Verdicts in the Auschwitz trial
The verdict in the Auschwitz trial took place in Frankfurt am Main on 19 and 20 August 1965. The trial had begun on 20 December 1963. Six defendants received a life sentence, ten prison sentences of between three and a half and fourteen years and one a ten-year juvenile sentence. Three defendants were acquitted due to lack of evidence.
