WWII - Allied Conferences from the Atlantic Charter 1941 to Potsdam 1945
In the course of the Second World War, the heads of state and government of the anti-Hitler coalition met again and again in various constellations and at various levels to discuss the further conduct of the war and a European post-war order, including off Newfoundland, in Cairo, Moscow, Casablanca and Quebec. The first joint conference of the "Big Three," U.S. President Roosevelt, British Prime Minister Churchill, and Soviet leader Stalin, took place in Tehran in 1943. This was followed by the conference in Yalta (Crimea) in the spring of 1945 and finally, after the end of the war, the Potsdam Conference in the summer of 1945.
