At the Tehran Conference (Nov. 28-Dec. 1, 1943), U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt, British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and Soviet leader Josef Stalin mainly discussed further joint warfare, such as the establishment of a second front in Western Europe and the invasion of France. They also discussed the political reorganization of Europe after the end of the war. It was the first conference of the heads of government of the three main allies of the anti-Hitler coalition in World War II.
