WR - Parties - DNVP
The German National People's Party (DNVP) was a conservative political party in the Weimar Republic that existed from 1918 to 1933. The DNVP represented national conservative and monarchist positions and rejected the democratic principles of the Weimar Constitution. Although it was involved in the government for a time, the DNVP lost influence in the later years of the Weimar Republic and was ultimately absorbed into the National Socialist movement.
