John F. Kennedy wurde am 20. Januar 1961 in das Amt des Präsidenten der Vereinigten Staaten eingeführt. Nach dem Ablegen des Amtseids durch den Obersten Bundesrichter Earl Warren hielt er seine Amtsantrittsrede, die zugleich die erste Amtsantrittsrede war, die im Fernsehen übertragen wurde.
