Freiwillige befreien einen Fluss in Indonesien von Müll
In Joyotakan im indonesischen Solo (Surakata) holen Helfer Müll aus dem Fluss Premulung, der an einer Müllsperre, einem sogenannten Trash Boom, hängen bleibt. Das Programm namens Sungai Lestari soll die Flussverschmutzung verringern und die kommunale Müllentsorgung stärken. Nach Angaben der Organisatoren werden bei jedem Einsatz 80 bis 100 Kilogramm Müll eingesammelt und in Kompost, Recyclingmaterial und Restmüll sortiert.
