Keanu Charles Reeves, geboren am 2. September 1964 in Beirut, Libanon, ist ein kanadischer Schauspieler, Musiker und Filmproduzent. Er wuchs in verschiedenen Ländern, darunter Australien und die USA, auf und zog schließlich nach Toronto, wo er seine Schauspielkarriere begann. Bekannt wurde er durch Filme wie "Speed" und die "Matrix"-Trilogie, die ihn zu einem der bestbezahlten Schauspieler Hollywoods machten. Neben seiner Filmkarriere engagiert sich Reeves für zahlreiche wohltätige Zwecke, insbesondere im Bereich der Krebsforschung. Trotz persönlicher Tragödien bleibt er für seine Bescheidenheit und Großzügigkeit bekannt.
