Neue «Sex and the City»-Serie: Chris Noth wieder als Mr. Big dabei
US-Schauspieler Chris Noth (66) kehrt in seiner ikonischen Rolle aus der Kultserie «Sex and the City» vor die Kamera zurück. Noth werde in der geplanten Serie «And Just Like That» als Mr. Big mitspielen, gab der Streamingdienst HBO Max am Mittwoch bekannt. «Wie könnten wir jemals ein neues Kapitel der «Sex And The City»-Story ohne unseren Mr. Big machen?», sagte Produzent Michael Patrick King laut der Mitteilung. Im Januar hatte HBO Max die Neuauflage der Kultserie um New Yorker Frauen und ihre Liebesabenteuer verkündet - mit Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon und Kristin Davis als Hauptdarstellerinnen und als ausführende Produzentinnen an Bord. Von der weiblichen Original- Besetzung fehlt nur Kim Cattrall in der Rolle der selbstbewussten Samantha Jones. Parker spielt erneut die Beziehungskolumnistin Carrie Bradshaw, Davis die brünette Charlotte York und Cynthia Nixon die rothaarige Anwältin Miranda Hobbes. Das Revival soll das Leben der drei Freundinnen ab 50 beleuchten. Geplant sind zehn halbstündige Episoden, mit einem Drehstart im Sommer.
