Prinzessin Kates erstmalige Bilder beim Trooping the Colour

Die britische Prinzessin Kate hat sich erstmals seit der Bekanntgabe ihrer Krebsdiagnose im März wieder öffentlich gezeigt. Die 42-Jährige fuhr am Samstag anlässlich der Militärparade zu Ehren des Königs Charles III. mit ihren Kindern George, Charlotte und Louis in einer Pferdekutsche. Schaulustige jubelten, als sie Kate sahen, die ein weißes Kleid und einen Hut mit breiter Krempe trug. Es war geplant, dass Kate die Zeremonie «Trooping the Colour» von einem Gebäude mit Blick auf das als Horse Guards Parade genannte Gelände in London aus verfolgt. Kates Mann Prinz William war für die Parade auf einem Pferd unterwegs. Bei der Parade ziehen Soldaten in vollständiger Uniform mit ihrer Flagge am König vorbei. Charles verzichtete dieses Jahr auf einen Ritt und fuhr mit Königin Camilla in einer Kutsche. Auch der 75-jährige Charles wird wegen Krebs behandelt.
