Ritchie Blackmore wird 80 (14.04.2025)

Der britische Gitarrist und Songwriter Ritchie Blackmore (eigentlich Richard Hugh Blackmore) wurde am 14. April 1945 geboren. Blackmore wurde als Gründungsmitglied der Hardrockband "Deep Purple" im Jahr 1968 berühmt. Mit seinem einzigartigen Gitarrenstil, der klassische Melodien mit Rock und Blues verband, prägte er entscheidend den Hard Rock und Heavy Metal. Nach seinem Ausstieg bei "Deep Purple" gründete er 1975 die Band "Rainbow", um seine musikalischen Ideen weiterzuentwickeln. Blackmores herausragende Spieltechnik beeinflusste zahlreiche Musiker, insbesondere die der New Wave of British Heavy Metal.
