Mehr als 150 Millionen Haushalte haben laut Netflix in nicht mal drei Wochen schon die Tim-Burton-Serie «Wednesday» gestreamt. Gedreht wurde der Hit - ein Spin-Off der «Addams Family» - mit Jenna Ortega als Wednesday Addams in Rumänien. In der Serie studiert sie an der Nevermore Akademie und entdeckt dort ihre Superkräfte. Oscar-Preisträgerin Catherine Zeta-Jones schlüpft in die Rolle der Familien-Matriarchin Morticia Addams, Luis Guzmán spielt den Vater Gomez Addams.
