Earhart, Amelia Amelia Earhart (born July 24, 1897) was an American aviation pioneer and women's rights activist. She was the first woman to cross the Atlantic in solo flight. On May 20, 1932, she took off from Newfoundland bound for Paris. However, bad weather and technical problems meant that she had to make an emergency landing near Londonderry in Northern Ireland. On January 11, 1935, she became the first person to fly solo over the part of the Pacific Ocean between Honolulu (Hawaii) and Oakland (California). Earhart kept seeking new challenges and set numerous records. In 1937, she wanted to be the first woman to circumnavigate the earth at the height of the equator. It was to be her last great adventure. After almost 40,000 kilometers, she and her navigator Fred Noonan disappeared without a trace over the Pacific Ocean and were presumed missing from July 2, 1937. She was declared dead on January 5, 1939.

Immendorff, Jörg (14.06.1945 - 28.05.2027) Jörg Immendorff was one of the most important German artists and art professors. Born on 14 June 1945 in Bleckede, he initially studied stage design before switching to art with Joseph Beuys in 1964. After years as an art teacher at a school in Düsseldorf, he devoted himself entirely to free art at the beginning of the 1980s. Naipaul, V. S. (17.08.1932 - 11.08.2018) The British writer with Indian roots, Sir Vidiadhar Surajprasad Naipaul was born on 17 August 1932 in Chaguanas (Trinidad and Tobago). He has lived in England since 1950 and was raised to the peerage by the British Queen in 1989. His breakthrough came with the novel "A House for Mr Biswas" (1961) about the life of his father. Naipaul was known not only as a novelist but also as an idiosyncratic travel writer who dealt in particular with the situation in post-colonial countries. In his later works, he again focused more on questions of identity and homelessness. Naipaul received several awards for his narrative work as well as his critical travelogues and was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2001. He died in London in 2018.

Zander, Frank Frank Zander, born 04.02.1942, is a German singer, musician and actor. He had his first musical successes in the mid-1970s. Some of his songs reached the top of the charts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In 1989 he founded "Zett Records" together with his son Marcus Zander and Dieter Poel.
